About Gaetano’s New Age Music

Change has become a catch phrase of pop politics, everyday economics, and commercials playing off hopes and fears about both. And because true and trendy “change” has become so pervasive, so almost easy to ignore, New Age musician Gaetano Bitetto believes it’s critical to find ways to embrace change.

“Our world is changing faster than ever,” says Gaetano. “We’re living in stressful times.” A life-long pianist and composer with a passion for the healing power of music, Gaetano sees New Age music especially as a channel for change. “We need outlets to relax, reflect, and recharge, so we can truly move forward in our lives. New Age music is an instrument for that.”

From classical Greeks to New Thought doctor Deepak Chopra, music has long been recognized as therapy for brain and body. Like other artists, Gaetano has found making music as alternative healing from the stress of everyday living. After spending a lifetime creating music, Gaetano felt inspired to debut his album Whispers in the Wind when massage therapist friends and fellow yogis expressed how much they enjoyed his New Age music.

Sharing his healing music so publicly marks a change in Gaetano’s own life, so it’s fitting that his debut single is “Changes”. The first song Gaetano’s sung and written lyrics for, “Changes” is sure sympathy for the challenge of change. Gaetano sings, “Sometimes you feel like you can’t move on, safer to cling and keep holding on.”

“’Changes’ was inspired by transforming trials in my personal life,” explains Gaetano. “But the song speaks to change occurring in our country, in our world.” The delicate balance required to walk through change is more obvious than ever, and Whispers in the Wind offers the steadying hand that healing music can. As Gaetano sings in “Changes,” his New Age music can help you “know you’re free to be someone new.

“Break away,” “Changes” encourages. “Take a different view.”
